Hamas announced Netanyahu’s failure in the negotiation process

A Hamas official revealed that the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime and his extremist cabinet are thwarting any attempt to reach a ceasefire agreement.

The Hamas movement announced this Sunday that Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Zionist regime, rejects the basic principles of the success of the negotiations and the recognition of the rights of the Palestinian people.

Taher al-Nunu, the media adviser of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the movement’s political bureau, said in an interview to Al Jazeera Mubasher: Netanyahu’s primary goal of advancing the war (in the Gaza Strip) is to achieve purely personal and electoral interests and to protect himself.

El Nuno accused Netanyahu of thwarting all efforts by the mediators (Qatar and Egypt) to make progress in the negotiations, because he and his cabinet are the most extreme people in the history of the Zionist regime.

He said: the basic keys of the negotiations are: a lasting ceasefire, ending any military presence of the occupiers in the Gaza Strip and meeting all the needs of the Palestinian people by rebuilding and ending the siege of Gaza.

This Hamas official added: Netanyahu rejects the basic keys to the success of negotiations and the recognition of the rights of the Palestinian people.

Al Nuno also said about the American government: America is fully involved in supporting the crimes of the occupation and providing cover and weapons to kill Palestinians and to impose collective punishment against them.

He said about what was agreed upon at the second meeting in Paris: We did not receive any official information about what happened in Paris.

While an hour ago, the White House claimed that the Paris talks are nearing their end to reach an agreement on the release of prisoners and a temporary ceasefire.
