According to the international group Tasnim news agency, the Foreign Assets Control Office of the US Treasury announced that the company “Winshaw” shipping company, which is registered in the Marshall Islands and has put one of its ships on the sanctions list.
The US Treasury has claimed that the company’s ship, “Lady Sophia”, was transporting “illegal cargoes”. He has been working with China to support the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and one of the financial facilitators of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement. Brian Nelson, the US Deputy Treasury Secretary, claimed: “We are trying to disrupt the efforts of the Quds Force.” The IRGC and the Houthis are committed to bypassing the sanctions.”
