Qassam announced that the fighters of these battalions targeted the Merkava tank of the Zionist regime in the city of Khan Yunis in the south of the Gaza Strip with a bomb and destroyed it.

The Hamas statement mentioned that a number of Israeli soldiers were killed and wounded during this attack.

Qassam battalions confirmed that 3 Israeli helicopters have landed in this area to transport the dead and wounded.

At the same time, local sources reported a clash between the resistance forces and the occupying forces in Al-Zahra area in the center of Gaza.
