Putin: Russia Ready to Aid End to Regional War

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia is prepared to contribute to concluding the war in the region, stated President Vladimir Putin. Focusing on the conflict between Iran and the United States, Putin highlighted Moscow’s endorsement of a rapid cessation of hostilities and the attainment of a political settlement.
Putin noted Russia’s close ties with Arab nations and Iran, reiterating Moscow’s consistent calls for Tehran to exercise restraint and avoid any military actions against other Islamic countries since the crisis began. He stressed that Russia has cultivated friendly relations with Persian Gulf Arab states and Iran over recent years, striving to prevent the escalation of the conflict.
The Russian President positively assessed the ongoing diplomatic efforts to resolve the crisis, observing indications that both sides are exploring avenues for an agreement. Russia, he expressed, hopes these efforts will yield positive outcomes and lead to the end of the war.
