Amnesty International: Israel Accelerates ‘Ethnic Cleansing’ in West Bank

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Amnesty International, citing available statistics, has declared that between January 2023 and April 2026, 117 Palestinian Bedouin and nomadic settlements in the West Bank were completely or partially razed, forcing their residents to abandon their homes. This forced displacement has led to approximately 5,910 Palestinians becoming refugees during this period.
Amnesty International also emphasized that within the same timeframe, Israeli authorities established 363 new illegal settlement outposts in the West Bank, while simultaneously demolishing 3,407 Palestinian homes and infrastructure facilities.
The human rights organization characterized these actions as part of a “planned policy” by the Israeli regime to strengthen its occupation and expand settlements in Area C of the West Bank, describing it as a fatal blow to the sovereignty and security of the Palestinian residents in the region.
This report emerges at a time when the international community continues to remain silent regarding the ongoing human rights violations by the Israeli regime in the occupied territories, with no decisive international actions taken to halt this trend.
