Trump Questions Beirut Strike Amidst Iran Deal Proximity

U.S. President Donald Trump stated on his social media platform that the morning strike in Beirut ‘should not have happened,’ particularly as the United States is reportedly nearing a peace agreement with Iran. He also emphasized that Israel has a right to defend itself.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, commented on his social media platform, Truth Social, regarding the morning attack in Beirut. Without condemning the continued brutal aggression by the Zionist regime against the oppressed people of Lebanon, Trump adopted a passive and purely verbal stance, writing: “The attack this morning in Beirut should not have happened, especially on a special day when we are very close to a peace agreement with Iran.”

The U.S. President, who did not recall the Zionists’ brutality against the people of Lebanon and Palestine, made a seemingly absurd claim by misplacing the aggressor and the oppressed. He stated: “Israel has the right to defend itself from threats, but the attack it responded to was very small and meaningless. No one was injured, wounded, or killed, and this important process should not be disrupted.”

Trump claimed: “We are very close to an agreement (the alleged agreement between Tehran and Washington) that will bring peace to the region, including Lebanon, and all parties must back down.”

TrumpHe adopted a deceptive stance, attempting to justify the aggression and the occupying nature of the Zionist occupiers in this manner: “No more attacks should take place from Israel anywhere in Lebanon, but no other party, including Hezbollah, should carry out other attacks against Israel. This could be the beginning of a long and beautiful peace – let’s not ruin it!”
