Israel Acknowledges Heavy Losses in Lebanon as Hezbollah Targets Senior Officers

The Israeli regime has admitted to significant casualties among its forces on the southern Lebanon front over the past 24 hours, with Hezbollah reportedly targeting senior Israeli officers.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli regime has acknowledged heavy losses among its military personnel on the southern Lebanon front within the past 24 hours. Data released by the Mehr News Agency, citing resistance information channels, indicates that the Israeli army confirmed the death of Sergeant First Class Alexander Filin from the 36th Division, who was killed by a bomb explosion in the Litani area. The Deputy Commander of the occupation army’s 36th Division, a Colonel, the commander of a battalion from the 556th Logistics Brigade, and a reservist sustained moderate injuries. Additionally, one officer, two male reservists, and one female reservist suffered minor injuries in the incident.

Channel 12 of Israel reported that the incident in which an Israeli soldier was killed and seven others, including the deputy commander of the 36th Division, were injured, occurred in the village of Al-Taybeh in southern Lebanon. Assessments suggest that Hezbollah forces infiltrated the village and planted explosives along the route of the Israeli military convoy. Another Hebrew-language media outlet reported that Hezbollah has been hunting senior Israeli officers in Lebanon.
