Iranian President to Visit Pakistan for Diplomatic Talks

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on Tuesday for discussions with the Pakistani Prime Minister, a visit that presents an opportunity to deliberate on recent diplomatic efforts. The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the significance of a joint statement with Qatar, particularly the formation of a committee to oversee the implementation of a memorandum of understanding.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will visit Pakistan tomorrow to meet with the Prime Minister. This visit is seen as a key opportunity to discuss recent diplomatic endeavors, including ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States.

The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs further stated in its release that a joint statement issued by Pakistan and Qatar holds considerable importance. A central element of this statement is the establishment of a committee tasked with monitoring the implementation of a memorandum of understanding between Tehran and Washington.

Islamabad elaborated that technical committees will be formed to execute the provisions of the memorandum of understanding in accordance with Article 12, and that technical delegations will continue their work.
