US Embassy in Lebanon Circumference Sees Shooting Incident

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Lebanese Al-Jadeed television network reported a shooting incident within the perimeter of the U.S. Embassy in the Awkar area of Beirut. Following the report, the Lebanese army swiftly moved to block all routes leading to the embassy’s vicinity.
Lebanese military sources informed Al-Nahar that army forces stationed around the U.S. Embassy in Awkar fired warning shots into the air while confronting a vehicle that failed to comply with their orders. The incident occurred when a vehicle disregarded instructions from a Lebanese army checkpoint situated in the U.S. Embassy compound.
A subsequent inspection of the vehicle revealed its occupants to be two Syrian individuals who were not in possession of identification documents.
