European Nations Agree to Pay Strait of Hormuz Tolls, Bloomberg Reports

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Bloomberg has reported that several significant European nations have reached an agreement on the principle of their vessels paying tolls to Iran and Oman when transiting the Strait of Hormuz. These countries view the payment as an unavoidable measure in the aftermath of actions by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran.
While official statements from some Arab officials in the Persian Gulf states may present differing views, they are reportedly unofficially pursuing this concept. The exact amount of the fees to be paid by countries transiting the Strait of Hormuz remains undisclosed. However, European nations have urged Iranian and Omani officials not to discriminate between vessels based on their nationality.
Oman informed European officials last week that a return to pre-war conditions in the Strait of Hormuz is unfeasible. Vessels passing through this vital waterway may incur costs related to pollution control services and navigation fees.
