UN Fact-Finding Mission: Sudan Nears Catastrophic Collapse, Civilians Heavily Impacted

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a member of the United Nations fact-finding mission on Sudan has told Al Jazeera that the country’s situation has reached a catastrophic point and is nearing collapse.
The official highlighted that Rapid Support Forces (RSF) attacks have severely harmed civilians, raising serious concerns. Residents in the cities of El Obeid and El Fasher are facing extremely difficult conditions, with approximately 500,000 people displaced so far.
The infrastructure in El Obeid has sustained extensive damage, and the humanitarian situation in the city is dire. The UN mission member urged the involved parties to heed calls for crisis resolution and an end to hostilities, advocating for a path toward conflict resolution.
