Omani Foreign Minister Highlights Israeli Actions as Major Threat to Persian Gulf Security

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi stated that complex discussions are underway to establish a long-term mechanism aimed at ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. He added that Oman bears the responsibility of cooperating with Iran and the international community to achieve this mechanism guaranteeing freedom of maritime passage.
Al-Busaidi asserted that the most dangerous threats to the security of the Persian Gulf originate not from within the region, but from external decisions and actions, particularly those emanating from Tel Aviv. He further commented on the need to readjust relations with the United States to better align with the strategic realities that have become evident during the ongoing conflict. The minister characterized the current war as catastrophic, lacking authorization from the United Nations, and failing to achieve any of its stated objectives.
