Ansarullah Official: Saudi Arabia Has No Right to Interfere in Yemen’s Affairs

A member of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement has strongly criticized Saudi Arabia, stating that Riyadh has no right to interfere in the internal affairs, sovereignty, or foreign relations of Yemen.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hazam Al-Asad, a member of the political bureau of Yemen‘s Ansarullah movement, has vehemently criticized Saudi Arabia, asserting that Riyadh possesses no right to meddle in Yemen’s domestic affairs, including its airports, ports, resources, regional and international relationships, or the determination of its allies and adversaries.

Al-Asad emphasized Yemen’s status as an independent and sovereign nation, declaring that the Yemeni people, with their deep historical roots, will never become a “backyard” or a tool for Saudi projects.

The Ansarullah official further accused Saudi Arabia of subservience to the United States. He contrasted Riyadh’s pride in its ties with Washington with the Yemeni people’s pride in their freedom and reliance on God.

Addressing the ongoing siege and pressures against Yemen, Al-Asad affirmed that the Yemeni people, drawing strength from their faith and capabilities, will reclaim their legitimate rights and overcome the imposed blockade.

Citing verses from the Holy Quran, he concluded by stressing the Yemeni people’s continued steadfastness against “aggression and siege.”
