Russia Reports Destroying 678 Ukrainian Drones, Capturing Vovchansk

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense issued a statement on Sunday detailing significant military operations, reporting the destruction of 678 Ukrainian drones and the liberation of the town of Vovchansk in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The statement indicated that these actions were carried out by units of the Russian Eastern Military District.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces successfully intercepted and destroyed 678 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), eight guided aerial bombs, two Neptune-MD guided missiles, and one HIMARS projectile. The Ministry of Defense further elaborated that targets included assembly and storage facilities for long-range drones, as well as logistical centers utilized by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In a separate maritime operation, the Russian Black Sea Fleet successfully destroyed two Ukrainian uncrewed surface vessels. The Ministry of Defense confirmed that specific infrastructure related to drone operations and Ukrainian military logistics were the focus of these strikes.
