Iraq Launches Joint Operations Command Center for Arbaeen Security Plan

Iraq’s Joint Operations Command has inaugurated a command and control center for the security plan to ensure the success of the upcoming Arbaeen pilgrimage, mobilizing security and service entities for the millions of expected visitors.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Joint Operations Command of Iraq today, Monday, opened the command and control center for the security plan of the Arbaeen ceremony of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). This initiative is part of the preparations to secure the mass pilgrimage and coordinate efforts among various security and service formations.

The headquarters, operating under the direct supervision of Qais Al-Muhammadawi, Deputy Commander of the Joint Operations Command, aims to manage and monitor the implementation of the security plan. It will also enhance coordination among security commanders and supporting parties to ensure the smooth movement of pilgrims, facilitate rapid responses to field developments, and guarantee the highest level of security and services throughout the Arbaeen period.

The Iraqi Joint Operations Command emphasized that the establishment of this center is part of a series of measures designed to ensure the successful observance of the Arbaeen ceremony. This includes strengthening security, intelligence, service, and media coordination to create a safe and stable environment for millions of pilgrims from both within Iraq and abroad.
