Hamas Condemns ‘Judaization’ Efforts Targeting Al-Aqsa Mosque
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has strongly denounced the widespread incursions by thousands of Israeli settlers into Al-Aqsa Mosque. The movement, citing reports from the Palestinian Information Center via the Mehr News Agency, highlighted the participation of Itamar Ben-Gvir, an extremist minister in the occupying regime’s cabinet, along with several cabinet members, Knesset members, and Zionist rabbis.
Hamas characterized these actions as a dangerous escalation and a blatant transgression aimed at the Judaization of Al-Aqsa Mosque. The movement stated that these acts are part of the occupying regime’s agenda to establish complete dominance over Jerusalem and its Islamic holy sites.
The group issued a warning regarding the consequences of settlers exploiting alleged religious occasions to intensify their incursions and perform Talmudic rituals within the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Hamas asserted that these aggressive and overt actions would ultimately backfire on the occupying regime and its settlers, emphasizing that the Palestinian people and their resistance will not stand idly by while their holy sites are desecrated.
The movement reiterated that Al-Aqsa Mosque will remain the exclusive right of Muslims, and all actions by the occupying regime and settler incursions are void and hold no legitimacy. Hamas stressed that the will of the Palestinian people and their commitment to Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque will serve as a steadfast bulwark against Judaization plans until the occupation ceases.
Hamas called for a general mobilization of the Palestinian people in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the occupied territories of 1948. The movement urged them to travel to Jerusalem and strengthen their continuous presence and spiritual retreat within the mosque’s courtyards, viewing this presence as the primary defense line against the occupying regime’s schemes to alter Al-Aqsa Mosque’s identity and erase its Arab and Islamic characteristics.
Furthermore, Hamas appealed to Arab and Islamic countries, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Arab League to assume their political and religious responsibilities. The movement called for immediate and practical measures to protect Al-Aqsa Mosque and halt the ongoing aggressions against Jerusalem and its holy sites, urging them to move beyond mere condemnatory statements and expressions of outrage.
