Two Israeli Soldiers Killed, Seven Injured in Bomb Blast in Southern Lebanon
Two Israeli soldiers have been killed and seven others injured following the detonation of a bomb in the southern Lebanese town of Majdal Zoun, according to reports from Israeli media.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli media outlets initially reported an explosion of a bomb near Israeli soldiers in the town of Majdal Zoun, southern Lebanon, resulting in several injuries that required hospitalization.
These reports indicated the arrival of three helicopters at Rambam Hospital and the presence of three ambulances.
Minutes later, Israeli media confirmed that at least two Israeli soldiers were killed and seven members of the 55th Brigade of the Israeli army were injured in the blast, which occurred inside a booby-trapped building in southern Lebanon.
Sources acknowledged that the condition of one of the injured soldiers is critical and they are currently undergoing emergency surgery.
