According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a prominent American think tank has reported a substantial rise in individual bankruptcy filings across the United States. The think tank, identified as ‘Convergence,’ revealed that the number of Americans applying for personal bankruptcy declarations is on a discernible upward trend.

The report indicates that approximately 500,000 Americans filed for personal bankruptcy in the year 2025. This figure represents a substantial increase of nearly 50% when contrasted with the data from 2022. This surge in personal bankruptcies occurs against a backdrop of previously published statistics highlighting an escalation in the number of bankrupt companies and organizations within the country.
