Trump Claims US Controls Strait of Hormuz, Vows Iran Won’t Obtain Nuclear Weapons

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has repeated his assertion that the United States maintains control over the Strait of Hormuz and vowed that Iran will never achieve nuclear weapons capability. He also claimed that if Iran had obtained nuclear weapons, it would have used them to destroy Israel and the entire Middle East.

Trump further alleged that U.S. forces have decimated Iran’s naval and air power. In an attempt to explain the lack of progress in reaching an agreement with Iran, the U.S. President stated that achieving a deal is not easy because the leaders of Iran have also been eliminated, leaving uncertainty about who currently leads the country.

Defending the imposition of pressure on the Iranian people, Trump asserted that the United States had no other choice and would repeat such actions 100 more times if necessary.
