Egyptian Foreign Minister Demands Israel Halt Attacks on Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Egypt‘s Foreign Minister, in a telephone conversation with his Greek counterpart, discussed the latest regional developments and ongoing crises, stressing the critical importance of intensifying diplomatic efforts to contain tensions. Both sides underscored the imperative of avoiding military escalations and safeguarding the security and freedom of international maritime navigation. The Egyptian top diplomat affirmed Egypt’s comprehensive support for Lebanon’s sovereignty, integrity, territorial unity, and national institutions, urging Israel to adhere to a ceasefire and completely withdraw its forces from Lebanese land. Furthermore, he declared Egypt’s full backing for Sudan’s independence, national unity, and legal institutions, emphasizing the necessity of launching an inclusive and comprehensive political path in Sudan that guarantees the interests and aspirations of its people.
