Pakistan’s Foreign Minister to Visit London for Regional Consultations

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, is set to embark on a five-day official visit to the United Kingdom starting Monday to engage in discussions with his British counterpart, David Miliband, and other senior officials regarding regional developments and bilateral cooperation.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Pakistan‘s Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, will commence an official five-day visit to the United Kingdom on Monday. The purpose of the trip is to hold discussions with his British counterpart, David Miliband, and other high-ranking officials of the country. The visit is scheduled to continue until August 28.

During his engagements, Minister Dar is also slated to meet with the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization. Discussions are expected to cover the situation of Pakistani crew members who were taken hostage by pirates on a cargo ship off the coast of Pantelande, Somalia.

Furthermore, the Pakistani Foreign Minister is scheduled to meet with Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth of Nations.

Minister Dar’s visit to London will also include talks with the UK’s Foreign Secretary, David Miliband, focusing on bilateral cooperation and prevailing regional developments.
