Iran’s Parliament Speaker Criticizes Trump’s Economic Policies

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his strong disapproval of recent U.S. economic strategies. Sharing a post, Ghalibaf posed a series of rhetorical questions challenging the efficacy of President Trump’s actions.

“Importing frozen meat to control meat prices? Alright, maybe it will work,” Ghalibaf wrote. “But what plan do you have for treasury bonds? Do you want to import frozen yields? For housing, will you import frozen buyers? To address wages, should you export frozen pay slips?”

His critique extended to the broader implications of what he described as a “frozen foreign policy devoid of initiative,” which he argued inevitably leads to a “frozen and stagnant economy.” Ghalibaf concluded his statement with a stark warning: “The only thing still in motion? The Iranian boomerang that returns to hit yourselves.”
