Hashd al-Sha’abi Operations Target ISIS Remnants in Anbar, Iraq

Iraqi Hashd al-Sha’abi forces have successfully targeted ISIS tunnels and hideouts in the desert regions of Anbar province, neutralizing terrorist supply depots as part of ongoing operations against the group’s remnants.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency via Al-Maalomah, a security source in Iraq’s Anbar province announced that Hashd al-Sha’abi forces have successfully targeted ISIS terrorist tunnels and positions deep within the desert areas of Anbar.

The report indicates that Hashd al-Sha’abi forces conducted a preemptive operation, monitoring various areas of Rawah, located west of the city of Ramadi, and striking ISIS elements’ storage facilities.

The source stated that these tunnels and warehouses were utilized by ISIS members for storing petroleum products, weapons, and food supplies.

It is noteworthy that Hashd al-Sha’abi operations against the remnants of the ISIS terrorist organization continue in various regions of Iraq. Despite these efforts, some parties, including the United States, strongly emphasize the disarmament of resistance factions in Iraq to neutralize these underground cells.
