Israeli Forces Intensify Bombardment and Airstrikes on Southern Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, severe explosions rocked the Al-Khiyam region and other southern parts of Lebanon, causing widespread ground tremors. These blasts followed heavy Israeli aerial and artillery attacks.

Concurrently, Israeli forces subjected the areas surrounding the eastern town of Zoutar to intense artillery barrages. An airstrike was also reported in the Nabatieh Al-Fawqa region, where one fired missile failed to detonate.

Furthermore, local sources indicated three significant airstrikes on the Al-Mansouri area. Details regarding potential damage and casualties in these locations have not yet been released.

Since March 2, 2026 (Esfand 11, 1404 Iranian calendar), the Israeli regime has initiated extensive aggression against Lebanon. This campaign has resulted in the martyrdom and injury of numerous Lebanese citizens, the displacement of over one million people, and the occupation of parts of southern Lebanon.

These attacks are occurring despite the signing of a “framework agreement” between Lebanon and the Israeli regime in early July 2026 (Tir 1405 Iranian calendar), brokered by the United States, aimed at ending the hostilities.

Tel Aviv has, however, refrained from fully implementing its commitments under this agreement and continues its military transgressions and the destruction of infrastructure and residential areas in southern Lebanon.
