India Urges Global Cooperation to De-escalate International Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, India has called for increased cooperation to reduce global tensions, with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar highlighting that the future of international peace and security, the fight against climate change, combating terrorism, and reinforcing supply chains are all contingent upon readiness for multilateral collaborations. He stressed that the time has long come for more extensive participation in dialogues and for more transparent decision-making processes.

The conflict in Ukraine, coupled with military actions by the United States and the Zionist regime in Iranian territory, has led to the closure of transit routes, particularly maritime ones, and a subsequent increase in global energy and commodity prices. Energy-consuming nations like India are disproportionately affected by geopolitical tensions and are therefore actively seeking to de-escalate these conflicts.
