Massive Explosion in Khiam City Damages Homes and School

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Lebanese News Agency reported that Israeli forces conducted a massive explosion in the town of Khiam in southern Lebanon around midnight last night. The surrounding areas of the town also sustained damage from the blast wave.

The aftermath of this immense explosion was visible in the towns opposite Khiam, particularly Marjeyoun and Qlaileh. Some homes in these two towns were damaged, doors were torn from their hinges, window panes were shattered, and some walls developed cracks.

The public school in Marjeyoun also suffered damage due to the explosion. The glass in numerous classrooms was broken, prompting the school administration to temporarily close it pending repair and replacement of the damaged windows.

The extensive damage indicates the high power of the conducted explosion, which affected residences and facilities in the towns opposite Khiam.
