European Council President Reports Candid Talks with Iranian President

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, European Council President António Costa announced he held frank and essential discussions with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. Costa, citing information published by Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, stated he urged Iran to resume its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency. The European Council President also called on Tehran to halt attacks against neighboring countries and ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, without referencing any aggression by the Israeli regime and the United States against Iran.
