Israeli Opposition Parties Unite Against Netanyahu

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, reporting from Israel‘s Channel 12, leaders of opposition factions met in Tel Aviv, hosted by Yair Lapid, to solidify their commitment to unified action. The parties involved pledged to cease internal criticisms and focus on a collective strategy to challenge the current government.

Participants in the crucial meeting included Yair Lapid, Gadi Eisenkot, Naftali Bennett, Avigdor Lieberman, and Yair Golan. Following the summit, they released a joint photograph and a document outlining their shared principles and coordination plans, both leading up to and following the next election.

The agreement stipulates that no party will engage in attacks against another until a new government is established. Furthermore, three joint teams will be formed within 48 hours. These teams will focus on increasing the support for opposition movements, preparing for election day, and safeguarding what they termed the “transparency of the elections.”
