Trump emphasized the extensive surveillance preceding the arrests, stating, “We had them under surveillance for a long time, and finally, we got them!” He further claimed that the cooperation with the British proceeded excellently, contributing to the success of the operation.
The remarks come after British police confirmed a security incident occurred near the U.S. air base in Fairford, Gloucestershire. Authorities reported that several individuals were apprehended on suspicion of offenses related to explosive materials.
As a precautionary measure, residents in the vicinity of the Fairford base were relocated to alternative accommodations following the security alert.
