Saudi Arabia Targets Yemeni Educational Facilities Over 2,700 Times in 12 Years
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the National Foundation for Human Rights in Sana’a has stated that Saudi Arabian attacks against Yemen have impacted more than 2,775 educational and training facilities over a 12-year period. The organization cited data published by Mehr News Agency, which referenced Al-Masirah.
The National Foundation for Human Rights further indicated that Saudi Arabian assaults on schools and telecommunication towers have escalated since September 3rd. The repeated targeting of a school already devastated by Saudi strikes suggests a deliberate policy against education.
Yemen’s National Foundation for Human Rights condemned the bombing of Al-Rawd school in Taiz by Saudi fighter jets, which resulted in its complete destruction.
Earlier, the Saba’ News Agency in Sana’a reported that Saudi aircraft struck Al-Rawd school for the third time in the Al-Rabia’a district, northwest of Taiz, Yemen, demolishing what remained of the facility.
