Russia Condemns Israeli Settlement Expansion in Occupied Palestinian Territories

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia‘s representative to the United Nations Security Council has announced a firm condemnation of Israel’s settlement expansion in the occupied Palestinian territories. Speaking at an international forum concerning the Israeli regime, the Russian envoy emphasized that this stance is based on the belief that such actions obstruct the implementation of the two-state solution.

The representative further asserted that no viable alternative exists to the two-state solution for achieving just and comprehensive peace throughout West Asia. The remarks highlight Russia’s consistent opposition to settlement activities, which are widely considered illegal under international law and a significant obstacle to resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
