German Chancellor Warns of Dangerous Escalation in Lebanon Amid Israeli Actions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz declared on Tuesday that the escalating tensions in Lebanon have reached a very dangerous level. This statement comes in response to continued Israeli aggressions against the Lebanese people.

The German Chancellor, without referencing Israel’s consistent record of violating commitments, urged both Israel and Lebanon to pursue negotiations. Merz further elaborated that the situation in Lebanon is complex and that Germany is making every effort to de-escalate tensions and maintain a ceasefire.
