Greater Israel Project Poses Significant Regional Threats, Analysts Warn

The leadership of the Zionist regime is actively pursuing the ‘Greater Israel’ project, a plan that analysts warn could reshape regional maps, displace populations, and undermine the Arab identity of the Middle East, with significant backing from the United States.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, leaders of the Zionist regime are dedicating considerable effort to realizing the so-called “Greater Israel” project. While this initiative has evolved since its initial conception by former Prime Minister Shimon Peres, it retains core commonalities. From its inception, the “Greater Israel” project has been predicated on American involvement in its establishment as a cornerstone of U.S. presence in a new Middle East.

In this regard, Rai al-Youm newspaper notes that changes to regional maps will inevitably impact Egypt and other Arab and Islamic nations. Should this plan be implemented, Muslim peoples and countries will bear the cost of certain rulers’ alignment with the Zionist regime’s ambitions. Washington currently believes it has succeeded in further containing Arab countries to benefit the Zionist agenda. However, the advancement of this plan in its various dimensions runs counter to the interests of Islamic nations and peoples.

Architects of the Greater Israel Project

The Zionist “Greater Israel” project involves the annihilation or displacement of the Palestinian population. Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu are identified as the project’s foremost proponents, having played a decisive role in its progression to date. The situation in Gaza served as a test for solidifying America’s position in this capacity, with its comprehensive support for the Zionist regime significantly contributing to the ongoing genocide of Gaza’s population and thwarting international pressure for a ceasefire. Through these actions, Washington has paved the way for the implementation of the Greater Israel project, the alteration of regional maps, the suppression of Arab identity, and the Zionization of the region.

Threats of the Greater Israel Project to Regional Identity

Since their establishment, Zionists have sought to enlist Turkey and Iran against Arab nations. The “Greater Israel” project implies that the Zionist regime, which currently occupies roughly half of the Palestinian territories, is insufficient to accommodate all global Zionists. With American assistance, the Zionist regime has managed to contain Arab states, particularly Saudi Arabia and Egypt. This project posits that these nations do not require their current territorial extent. The Zionist regime’s expansionist ambitions, based on this project, involve the seizure of territories in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. In line with this project, Washington also insists on the establishment of a Palestinian state on Saudi Arabian land. Furthermore, the complete occupation of Gaza by the Zionist regime is considered a component of the Greater Israel project and a prelude to its ultimate execution.

It is undeniable that the Zionist regime represents a facet of the region’s neocolonialism. If the Greater Israel project fundamentally alters regional dynamics, its primary consequence will be the transformation of the Arab identity and the dissolution of the Arab world into regional divisions. Trump, in furtherance of this project, aims to instigate changes in governance in Iran, seeking to reintegrate the country into Zionist-American policies, mirroring its pre-revolution status.

Challenges Facing the Zionist Project:

  1. Iran, despite suffering losses, will not accept the principles of the Zionist project.
  2. Egypt and the Arab world are striving to reject this project without severing their alliance with the United States, refusing to yield to its demands.
  3. The populations of Egypt, Kuwait, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Jordan, who are directly affected by this project, will not readily accept this Zionist conspiracy to occupy their lands.
  4. Principled Arab elites who vehemently oppose the implementation of this plan will exert all their efforts to prevent its realization.
  5. The Egyptian people are staunch opponents of this project. The current population growth in Egypt and its inherent potential pose a threat to the advancement of the Zionist project and its policies.
  6. Regional resistance remains the most significant challenge to Zionist endeavors in the region.
  7. The Arab region, even with cooperation and normalization of relations by its official regimes with the Zionist regime, will not accept a change in its identity.
