Israel Claims Airstrikes on Six Hezbollah Members in Southern Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, The Israeli army announced on Tuesday that it had targeted six Hezbollah members in southern Lebanon. Five individuals were reportedly struck in the town of Zawtar al-Sharqiyah after approaching Israeli forces. Additionally, the Israeli air force claimed to have targeted a Hezbollah member in the Al-Tahir heights, whom Tel Aviv alleged posed a threat to Israeli forces.
These strikes occur while a ceasefire in Lebanon is part of a memorandum of understanding signed between Iran and the United States. However, the Israeli regime has continued its attacks on Lebanon, violating this truce. Israel launched a broad offensive against Lebanon on March 2, 2026 (Esfand 11, 1404 Persian calendar), resulting in the martyrdom and injury of a number of Lebanese citizens, as well as the displacement of over one million people.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the number of martyrs from the Israeli regime’s aggression on Lebanon since March 2, 2026 (Esfand 11, 1404 Persian calendar) has reached 4,211, with 12,173 individuals injured.
