Kuwait, Qatar Air Defenses Active Amid Missile Confrontations

Kuwaiti and Qatari forces are actively engaging aerial threats within their respective airspaces, with reports of explosions heard in southern Doha, as regional tensions escalate.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Kuwaiti army announced it is confronting aerial attacks within its airspace, as reported by Al Jazeera via the Mehr News Agency. The Qatari Ministry of Defense also confirmed that its armed forces remain engaged in responding to missile attacks.

A correspondent for Novosti reported hearing explosions in the southern part of Doha.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran stated that the “criminal Zionist regime of America,” by imposing its will on the Sultanate of Oman, attempted to “test the tested again” last night by provoking several vessels to create an illegal passage in the southern Strait of Hormuz. This attempt was reportedly thwarted by a decisive response from the naval force.

The IRGC further asserted that the “child-killing army of America,” to compensate for this setback, launched an airstrike against several coastal bases and communication towers on the southern coast, receiving a “crushing response” as promised.

The IRGC’s aerospace forces targeted American military bases. In the initial phase of this response, crucial military infrastructure and facilities at Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan were targeted. The base’s command and control center and MQ-9 drone hangars were reportedly struck by several ballistic missiles.

The IRGC warned that continued transgressions by “America the oath-breaker” will result in even more severe responses.
