Four Palestinians Killed, Three Injured in Israeli Assault on Nablus; One Israeli Guard Dead

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the West Bank announced that the death toll in the village of Tal, southwest of Nablus, has risen to four following an Israeli attack. Three other individuals sustained injuries, with three in critical condition.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health further stated that the number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank since the beginning of the year has reached 86, with 21 of them falling victim to settler gunfire.
In a separate development, Israeli emergency services reported that an Israeli who served as a guard for the Havat Gilad settlement in the West Bank was killed and three others were injured in an attack near the settlement. In response to this incident, the Israeli army has closed the entrances to the city of Nablus in the West Bank.
The occupation army stated, “We have dispatched forces to the settlement of Havat Gilad. Palestinians obtained a guard’s weapon and fired at Israelis near Havat Gilad. We have besieged the city of Nablus and the village of Tal in the West Bank.”
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich commented on the events, saying, “I call on the army to act with strength against any Palestinian village from which operations are carried out and its surrounding villages to enforce sovereignty. The residents of Havat Gilad settlement are the guards of the Israeli government, and we will continue to support them.”
