Israeli Newspaper Warns of Growing US Discontent and Global Isolation
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth has published a report indicating that political and diplomatic circles within the Zionist entity are viewing the rising levels of hatred towards Israel in American society with concern, fearing a descent into global isolation.
The report elaborates that the pro-Palestinian movement in the United States extends beyond mere “Free Palestine” slogans on university campuses. Latest surveys reveal a severe erosion of confidence in the Zionist entity within the U.S.
Amir Bohan, an Israeli journalist, writes that in 2026, four million graduates from thousands of American universities will enter the workforce in fields such as law firms, Wall Street, Hollywood, Google, and Microsoft.
He adds that since October 7th, amidst the Gaza conflict, pro-Palestinian movements have taken root among students in American universities. This development occurred despite the Zionist entity’s initial reaction, which was characterized by disdain and disrespect towards these young individuals.
Bohan explains that the majority of the American population rejects the Zionist entity, and the support from certain government and congressional representatives for the entity is also disintegrating.
He noted that public opinion among young people regarding Israel is highly perilous, with 75 percent of Americans aged 18 to 29 holding negative views of Tel Aviv.
The author of the article, referencing the shift in attitudes among the younger American generation, writes: “Americans have become disillusioned with Israel after witnessing the deaths of tens of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza and the atrocities committed by settlers in the West Bank. They are protesting against Israel in the streets and setting up protest camps on university campuses.”
Bohan concludes with a warning that this anti-Zionist wave in America is part of a global public sentiment. He argues that Israel’s existential threat does not stem from external hatred but rather from “narcissism, extreme arrogance, and blind faith in the correctness of its path”—traits deeply embedded within the current Netanyahu cabinet.
