Iraqi Coalition Forbids Using Country’s Soil for Attacks on Neighbors

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data published by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera network, reveals that the ‘Administration of the State’ coalition in Iraq has emphasized that the country’s soil must not be used as a point of origin for attacks on its neighbors.

The coalition further stated that individuals whose actions threaten Iraq’s security are outside the framework of the law and must be confronted.

The ‘Administration of the State’ coalition condemned the recent attacks targeting units of the Iraqi armed forces.

Last week, several positions belonging to the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in various parts of Iraq, including Basra and Wasit in the south, were targeted in joint operations by the United States and Saudi Arabia.

The ‘Administration of the State’ coalition also reaffirmed its support for what it termed the “monopoly of weapons in the hands of the government,” in accordance with the government’s program approved by the Iraqi Parliament.

The coalition concluded by calling for adherence to the established timeline for the implementation of the state’s weapon monopoly plan by September 30, 2026.
