Israel Prepares Escalation Against Lebanon Amid Ongoing Hostilities

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli television, quoting military sources, has reported that the occupying army is preparing for a potential escalation of aggressions against Lebanon. These actions against Lebanon are conducted by the Israeli regime under the pretext of targeting Hezbollah’s infrastructure, but in reality, they aim to make southern areas of the country uninhabitable.

This comes as the Western-aligned Lebanese government and the Israeli regime have held seven rounds of negotiations without a cessation of Tel Aviv’s aggressions. Last night, the Israeli army, in continuation of its hostile actions, targeted multiple areas in southern Lebanon with aerial and artillery strikes. According to received reports, the occupying army’s artillery shelled the Wadi al-Hajir region and the town of Al-Mansouri in the Tyre district. Israeli fighter jets also bombed the outskirts of the town of Qantara.
