Yemen Slams US Sanctions on Hezbollah as Aid to Israel

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Yemen has declared that the United States’ sanctions targeting Hezbollah and the Lebanese resistance are intended to assist the Zionist enemy. In a statement released by the ministry, it was emphasized that these illegal sanctions, along with similar measures, openly contravene the international laws governing relations between states.

The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs further elaborated that whenever the Zionist enemy encounters failure in achieving a decisive military outcome, the United States steps in to fulfill that objective. The sanctions imposed by the U.S. on Hezbollah are considered clear evidence of the Israeli regime’s military shortcomings.

The statement highlighted that targeting Hezbollah and the Lebanese resistance at this particular juncture, regardless of the party involved, constitutes overt assistance to the enemy and active participation in its crimes. Yemeni officials urged Lebanese authorities to study history carefully, warning that alignment with the enemy inevitably leads to destruction.
