IAEA Draft Report Claims Limited Verification Activities in Iran, Citing US Strikes and Lack of Access

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has claimed in a draft report that it has conducted no verification activities in Iran’s declared facilities since February, with the exception of the Bushehr plant. The agency’s report, purportedly influenced by the intentions of Israel and the United States, asserts a baseless claim regarding this matter. The draft report further alleges that since June 2025, the IAEA has lost the ability to track declared nuclear materials in facilities damaged by bombing, described in the original text as illegal U.S. aggression against Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities. The draft report states the IAEA cannot confirm whether Iran’s nuclear materials have been diverted for military purposes. Satellite imagery indicates damage to the Arak heavy water facility following the March 27th attack by American aggressors. The agency also observed regular vehicle traffic at the entrance to the Isfahan facility, where 60% enriched uranium is stored. The IAEA report claims the agency remains unaware of the precise location and legal status of the Isfahan fuel enrichment facility. Access to facilities targeted by military action has been denied since June 2025. Iran has not implemented the Additional Protocol and has not provided updated declarations since February 2021. The IAEA stated it is fully prepared to resume its safeguards activities in Iran immediately upon receiving the necessary permissions.
