Russia neutralized the terrorist plan in the south of this country
Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) has arrested three foreign nationals who were planning to carry out a terrorist attack in the south of the country. |
Tass news agency quoted an FSB spokesperson and wrote: This agency foiled the terrorist activities of three citizens of a Central Asian country who were trying to carry out a terrorist explosion in a busy place in the Stavropol region.
This spokesman added that quantities of chemicals and explosive devices were discovered from this group.
This news has been published while last Friday’s terrorist attack on Crocus Hall near Moscow left 143 dead and 360 injured. This attack was unprecedented in Russia in the last 20 years. The four main defendants in this case are Tajiks.
Meanwhile, an intelligence source in Tajikistan announced on Friday that 9 people from the suburbs of Dushanbe, the capital of this country, have been arrested in Russia on charges of being associated with the perpetrators of last Friday’s terrorist attack.
