Lebanese Parliament Speaker Questions Enforcement of Ceasefire on Israel

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Nabih Berri, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, declared that resistance factions are ready for immediate and full adherence to a ceasefire. However, he emphasized that the primary issue is compelling the Israeli regime to cease its aggressions.

Berri further elaborated that a complete and swift halt to hostilities from the resistance would be guaranteed. The central question, he posed, is who will hold Israel accountable for halting its ground, sea, and air attacks, and the destruction of Lebanese villages and homes?

This development comes as Israel’s Channel 13 reported that Prime Minister Netanyahu was seeking to expand attacks and target Beirut during a security meeting. Channel 12 of the same regime added that Netanyahu aims to persuade President Trump to widen the military operations to include Beirut.
