Putin States Over 30,000 Sanctions Imposed on Russia, Highlights BRICS Growth

Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the BRICS economic summit in India, stating that over 30,000 sanctions have been imposed on Russia and emphasizing the bloc’s role in fostering stable global growth.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that more than 30,000 sanctions have been imposed against Russia. Speaking at the BRICS economic summit held in India, Putin asserted that Russia is prepared to participate in ensuring global energy and food security.

Putin further elaborated that BRICS forms a new and stable platform for global growth, with its rules not imposed from outside. He indicated that BRICS nations prioritize national interests in the development of their trade relations.

The Russian President highlighted that the countries initiating anti-Russian sanctions have themselves faced economic slowdowns. He accused the West of destroying energy infrastructure and pipelines in an effort to maintain its economic dominance.

Putin expressed confidence that BRICS initiatives will be successful, noting that Russia is developing its economic ties with reliable and predictable partners. He stated that BRICS has independently created a new and stable platform for global growth, with BRICS countries accounting for 40 percent of the world’s economic output over the past five years.

Additionally, the Russian President affirmed that Russia has strengthened its national sovereignty and is ready to contribute to global energy security.
