Russia Strikes European Arms Rail Links in Western Ukraine

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia‘s Ministry of Defense has reported conducting combined strikes against logistics centers used for the transfer and distribution of military cargo for Ukrainian forces, as well as the energy facilities supporting these centers. The ministry stated that the attacks, employing precision air-launched weapons and attack drones, damaged a portion of the railway infrastructure in western Ukraine that is utilized for transporting military shipments from European countries.

The Russian Ministry of Defense also announced that the “Nova Poshta” logistics center in Nerubayskoye, Odesa Oblast, which was used for storing and distributing military equipment designated for the armed forces of Ukraine, was targeted. According to the statement, the “Osatova” power substation in Odesa and the “Novaia” substation in Mykolaiv were also hit. These two facilities support port infrastructure and logistical activities in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

The Russian Ministry of Defense had previously reported on Saturday the destruction of several military targets in Ukraine, including the “InterpipeSteel” plant in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Moscow identified this plant as one of the largest suppliers of products used by Ukraine’s military industries.

The Russian Ministry of Defense states that since mid-July, its military has been targeting industrial and transport facilities, vessels, and storage centers associated with Ukrainian forces on a daily basis.
