Zelensky Alleges Russia Targeted His Plane Twice During Moldova Travel

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has revealed that Russia made two attempts to target his plane during his recent travels. Data published by Mehr News Agency, citing Anatolia, indicates that on two separate occasions, drones entered Moldovan airspace while Zelensky was transiting through Chisinau. In one instance, his aircraft was “almost” targeted as it was taking off for Oslo.

The Prime Minister of Norway had previously stated on September 9 that Zelensky’s plane had a near-miss with a drone while taking off from Moldova. Moldovan authorities confirmed that the country’s airspace was temporarily closed and several flights were delayed following the entry of a drone, which ultimately crashed approximately 160 kilometers from Chisinau Airport.

Zelensky further disclosed that one or two drones re-entered Moldovan airspace a few days later while he was returning to Ukraine. This incident, not previously reported, was detailed by CBS News.
