Pakistan Conducts Precision Strikes in Afghanistan, Rejects Escalation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Pakistan‘s Minister of Information, Attaullah Tarar, stated that Pakistan conducted precise airstrikes on 10 locations in Afghanistan used for launching and storing drones. He condemned an intentional attack carried out by drones launched from Afghan soil on Wednesday, emphasizing that Pakistan’s air defense systems identified, tracked, and neutralized the invading drones, completely thwarting the attack.

The Pakistani minister stressed that Islamabad is not seeking to escalate tensions and remains committed to peace, dialogue, and constructive regional engagement. Concurrently, an Afghan government source reported that Pakistani fighter jets bombed areas along the border between the two countries. Agence France-Presse also reported that the city of Kandahar in southern Afghanistan was targeted in an airstrike.
