Iraqi MP: We Will Not Fall for America’s New Deceptive Tactics
according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Maalomah, Iraqi Parliament member Firas Al-Muslimawi emphasized that reports in the media about U.S. troops withdrawing from certain bases within Iraq are not accurate.
He added that only a partial redeployment plan for American forces is underway,but it is indeed being portrayed as if the united States intends to withdraw fully.
Al-Muslimawi further stated that Iraq’s national sovereignty does not allow the presence of foreign forces under any pretext.The U.S. is operating based on a policy of relocating its troops within Iraqi territory. it has evacuated some secondary positions while reinforcing more critically important sites to mask its military presence amid growing political and public opposition.
He concluded by saying that America neither plans to retreat from Iraq nor relinquish its long-term presence, and that the Iraqi people will not be fooled by these political maneuvers.
