Yemen’s Ansarallah Denounces Saudi Claims of Mecca Attack as ‘Lie of the Century’

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Political Bureau of Yemen’s Ansarallah movement stated in a communiqué that the repeated Saudi fabrications demonstrate the regime’s inability to convince public opinion regarding the continuation of aggression and blockade against Yemen. The bureau expressed that Mecca and other Islamic holy sites hold a lofty and revered status among all Muslim nations, particularly the Yemeni people, and the Saudi regime cannot claim precedence over the Yemeni people in honoring Mecca and venerating Islamic sanctities.
The statement emphasized that the sanctity of Mecca is violated by those who exploit its sacred status in their aggressive wars, defiling it by welcoming Zionist Jews and holding festivities of amusement, merriment, and moral corruption. The bureau noted that the Saudi regime only remembers the sanctity of Mecca when it needs to stir the sentiments of Muslims and instrumentally leverage holy sites to serve its misguided and erroneous positions.
Ansarallah added that the Saudi regime must cease its aggression, end the suffocating blockade against the Yemeni people, and reconsider its policies and approach towards Yemen. The communiqué concluded by stressing that the Yemeni nation will not accept subjugation or guardianship, nor the continuation of aggression and blockade against them, and will persist in implementing the “blockade for blockade” equation until their legitimate demands are met.
To cover up its failures and scandals in the Yemen war and to sideline Ansarallah’s victories against Saudi mercenaries, the Saudi regime yesterday claimed that Ansarallah had targeted Mecca with a drone attack, which was reportedly unsuccessful.
