Dozens Injured and Missing After Industrial Explosion in Qatar

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Ministry of Interior of Qatar announced that at least 54 people were injured in an explosion in the industrial zone of Ras Laffan city due to a technical defect. Additionally, 18 others are reported missing with their fate currently unknown.

The state-owned Qatar Petroleum confirmed yesterday that an operational incident occurred while commencing operations in the Ras Laffan industrial city. This incident led to an explosion and fire at a factory.

Emergency response teams were immediately deployed to the scene, and the fire at the factory has since been contained.
